Full Job Description Job Title:
Quality Specialist - Sort Center Position Summary The Quality Specialist is responsible for monitoring, auditing, and validating operational processes within a high-volume sort center to ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to customer and company standards. In this role, the auditor works on the floor alongside operations and 4PL partners to proactively identify quality risks such as mis-sorts, scan failures, and process deviations. The role focuses on verification, auditing, and corrective action support, ensuring high levels of sort accuracy, data integrity, and service performance.

Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM-4:30
PM Weekday PM:
Monday-Thursday, 5:00 PM-3:30
AM Weekend AM:
Friday-Sunday, 6:00 AM-6:00
PM Weekend PM:
Friday-Sunday, 6:00 PM-6:00 AM Key Responsibilities Operational Quality Auditing
  • Conduct routine and random audits across inbound, sortation, and outbound processes.
  • Verify adherence to SOPs, work instructions, and customer requirements.
  • Audit scan compliance, sort accuracy, load quality, and handling practices.
  • Perform lane, trailer, and shipment-level audits to ensure correct routing and labeling. Sort Accuracy & Error Detection
  • Identify mis-sorts, misroutes, incorrect labeling, and handling errors.
  • Validate sortation system outputs against actual freight flow.
  • Ensure exception handling processes are properly followed.
  • Detect systemic issues impacting quality and service levels. Qualifications Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or quality-related roles.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic understanding of warehouse or sortation processes.
  • Ability to observe, document, and communicate findings clearly.
Pay:
$22.31 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
