Wire Harness Inspector Location:
San Fernando, CA Pay Rate:

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Be the Reason Every Product Passes the Test. As a Wire Harness Inspector in San Fernando, you'll be the one making sure every piece coming off the line meets top standards. The Wire Harness Inspector is responsible for inspecting, testing, and verifying electronic and electromechanical assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards, customer specifications, and AS9100 requirements. This role performs inspections, analyzes defects, completes documentation, and supports production quality throughout the manufacturing process. Job Duties Inspect wire harnesses, electronic assemblies, and components for quality and compliance.

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, work instructions, and test procedures.

Perform electrical, mechanical, and visual inspections using measuring tools and test equipment.

Record inspection results and complete required quality documentation and reports.

Troubleshoot defects and identify root causes of failures.

Build, maintain, and calibrate test fixtures and inspection equipment.

Complete

AS9100 FAIR

documentation and Certificates of Conformance.

Verify customer specifications and complete acceptance test reports (ATPs).

Support production inspections on the manufacturing floor and in the inspection area.

Follow safety, quality, and company procedures while performing other assigned duties. Requirements High School Diploma or GED.

3-5 years of quality inspection or related manufacturing experience.

Strong computer skills and inventory process knowledge.

Ability to read and interpret technical documents, drawings, and procedures.

IPC-610, IPC-620, or J-STD certification ability preferred.

Able to lift 20-40 lbs. and stand for extended periods. Preferred Qualifications Previous quality inspection, quality assurance, manufacturing, or production experience is preferred.

Technical training in manufacturing, quality assurance, or inspection procedures is beneficial.

Experience performing first article, in-process, or final product inspections is beneficial.

Knowledge of ISO standards, statistical process control, quality documentation, or corrective action procedures is considered an asset.

Individuals who demonstrate accuracy, professionalism, and a commitment to producing high-quality work are well positioned for success as a Wire Harness Inspector. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform inspection activities throughout the shift.

Ability to lift products or materials weighing up to 50 pounds when required.

Ability to use precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment with accuracy.
