Quality Assurance Technician Accelera - 3.5 Santa Ana, CA Job Details Full-time $28.50 - $38.50 an hour 13 hours ago Qualifications Mechanical blueprint interpretation Customer communication Mechanical drawings Full Job Description About the Role As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will play a vital role in upholding the integrity of our manufacturing output by ensuring every component meets rigorous precision standards. You will leverage your expertise in dimensional metrology and technical documentation to drive continuous improvement and maintain compliance within our quality management framework. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive visual, dimensional, and mechanical inspections across all stages of production, including receiving, in-process, and final testing. Utilize precision measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers to verify that metal parts adhere to strict engineering specifications. Develop and optimize CMM programs to facilitate efficient first-article and production-run inspections. Interpret complex mechanical drawings and manufacturing orders to ensure all inspection criteria are accurately executed. Manage the non-conforming material process by generating rejection tags and supporting corrective and preventive action (CAPA) initiatives. Maintain meticulous inspection records and objective evidence to support internal quality system audits and compliance. Serve as a primary point of contact for customer and government source inspection personnel, ensuring transparent communication regarding quality standards. Qualifications Required Skills Proven experience in a precision inspection or quality control role within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical mechanical drawings and blueprints. Hands-on experience with CMM programming and operation. Strong understanding of quality management systems and documentation requirements. Preferred Skills Experience with chemical inspection processes and material verification. Familiarity with ISO or similar quality standard frameworks. Demonstrated ability to lead or assist in root cause analysis for corrective actions.
