Job Description:
As a Senior Quality Technician, you will ensure that incoming and in-process materials meet defined quality standards for our single-use bioprocessing systems. In this role, you will contribute to product quality and manufacturing efficiency by executing inspections, supporting quality systems, and collaborating cross-functionally to address nonconformances and improve processes. What will you do? Inspection & Execution Perform incoming and in-process inspections on materials and assemblies to verify compliance with specifications, drawings, and quality standards Meet or exceed inspection throughput targets while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Utilize inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and microscopes Documentation & Systems Accurately document inspection results and material transactions in ERP systems in accordance with procedures Maintain complete and audit-ready inspection records, reports, and quality documentation Support tracking and reporting of quality metrics Nonconformance & Quality Systems Identify, document, and escalate nonconforming materials in a timely manner Support Material Review Board (MRB) activities, including data collection and disposition execution Assist in customer complaint investigations and corrective action (CAPA) activities as needed Collaboration & Communication Communicate quality issues effectively to manufacturing, purchasing, and quality engineering teams Work closely with manufacturing and quality engineering to support inspection criteria and process implementation Participate in daily tier meetings and cross-functional discussions Continuous Improvement Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inspection processes, efficiency, and product quality Support implementation and standardization of inspection methods and procedures Compliance & Safety Follow and reinforce all safety, health, and quality policies and procedures Ensure work is performed in compliance with company and regulatory requirements
Education:
An Associate of Science degree or a technology-related field or equivalent is preferred.
Experience, Skills, Abilities:
Quality Technician are required to interact with other supervisors, managers, employees, vendors and customers. Therefore, the following skills and proficiencies are also essential requirements of the position: Minimum of 3 years of experience with quality inspection and manufacturing assembly or equivalent role Ability to maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance onsite. Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service. Demonstrated ability to prioritize team workload based on the customer demand or schedules.
Collaborates well with others:
proactively contributes to group objectives; volunteers to help others Demonstrated appropriate computer and system application skills to efficiency and accurate transact information on inspected materials/lots as needed. Demonstrate competency with all Microsoft Office applications Outlook, Word, Excel and SharePoint Experience using PLM and ERP systems. Demonstrated ability to read and follow written procedures & work instructions. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal contexts. Demonstrated ability to read and understand layout, mechanical drawings and wiring schematics. Experience using inspection tools such as microscopes, calipers, micrometers, inspection gauges, etc. Knowledge/experience in manufacturing processes
Pay:
$30.00 - $35.00 per hour
