Santa Fe Springs, CA Job Details Full-time $20 - $30 an hour 6 hours ago Qualifications Inspection gauge Mechanical blueprint interpretation Measurement-based inspection Quality records maintenance Blueprint specification interpretation Quality control product testing Monitoring dimensions Mid-level Inspection reporting and documentation Quality reports Manufacturing facility experience Dimensional measurements Precision measurement in machining Visual inspection as testing technique Quality control problem-solving Collaboration with manufacturing teams Quality control communication Quality assurance experience within manufacturing Manufacturing 2 years Manufacturing company experience Quality control records management Full Job Description Qualifications 2+ years of experience in quality control, quality assurance, or dimensional inspection Experience operating FARO Arms and other inspection equipment Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications Experience performing dimensional inspections and creating accurate inspection reports Proficiency with precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other manual inspection tools Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards Experience in a precision machining or manufacturing environment preferred Responsibilities Perform dimensional and visual inspections of machined parts and components Operate FARO Arm and manual inspection equipment to verify part dimensions Inspect parts to engineering drawings, specifications, tolerances, and GD&T requirements Accurately document inspection results and prepare inspection reports Identify, document, and communicate nonconformances and quality concerns Work closely with production, machining, and engineering personnel to resolve inspection and quality issues Maintain accurate and organized quality and inspection records Help ensure finished products meet customer and company quality requirements If you are detail-oriented, experienced in precision inspection, and looking to join a quality-focused manufacturing team, we encourage you to apply.
