Job Description Job Description Job Overview:
We are seeking Quality Inspectors to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet the required quality standards through meticulous inspection and testing processes.
Duties:
Inspect parts visually and dimensionally for conformance to manufacturing drawings, quality control specifications and customer requirements. Must utilize all precision measuring equipment and techniques as applicable including micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators. Must be able to read drawing/blueprints for inspection requirements Must have basic computer aptitude skills for entering measurement data Effectively work with mechanical and electronic inspection tools and devices Working knowledge of Geometric and Dimensional Tolerances (GD&T) Working knowledge of mylars, optical comparator, thickness gage and profilometer Knowledge of aerospace specifications, quality codes and standards Knowledge of Six Sigma preferred Able to read blueprints and schematics Perform AS9102 first article inspection and other extensive inspections per specifications Document all inspections in accordance with procedures and processes Develop and review inspection plans Ensure quality standards are met for all components and assemblies for final acceptance Maintain parts history folders, inspection reports and prints/drawings Calibrate and document hand tools and other inspection equipment Perform visual inspection Perform hardness and electrical conductivity testing
