Job Description

Our client, a leading company, is looking for a Quality Assurance Inspector to join their team in Santa Maria, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for grading fruit, conducting quality inspections, and communicating findings to supervisors and cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and food safety standards are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:
Grade fruit according to established quality standards for Strawberries, Raspberries, and Blackberries Conduct holding tests and perform product quality inspections in accordance with company procedures Collect, record, and input quality data accurately using computer systems Report any quality or safety concerns to the department Supervisor and Manager in a timely manner Communicate effectively with coworkers, receiving personnel, pre-cool personnel, Sales, Growers, and admin staff Report on fruit handling activities at the assigned facility including arrival and quality of product with special attention to special packs Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with all employee safety, product quality, and food safety requirements
Requirements:
Bilingual in English and Spanish required Strong verbal, written, and electronic communication skills including text and email Team player with the ability to adapt and remain flexible in a fast-paced, continuously changing environment Dependable, reliable, and possessing strong interpersonal skills Ability to lift 10-25 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift Basic computer skills with the ability to collect and input data accurately
Pay & Schedule:
Pay Rate:
$18.00 per hour
Shift:
