Job Description

Overview We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Receiving Technician to support the day-to-day operations of our medical device testing laboratory. The primary responsibility of this position is receiving incoming client devices, test specimens, materials, and supplies and ensuring they are properly inspected, documented, labeled, organized, and routed according to our quality procedures. Approximately 80% of the role is focused on receiving , with the remaining time supporting shipping and general laboratory operations. This is a hands-on position within a small, collaborative technical team. The ideal candidate is organized, careful with details, comfortable following documented procedures, and eager to learn and take ownership of their responsibilities. Responsibilities Receive and inspect incoming client devices, test specimens, materials, equipment, and supplies Verify received items against shipping documentation, purchase specifications, and internal requirements Accurately document receipt, condition, quantity, identification, and other required information Label, organize, store, and route materials to the appropriate project teams and laboratory locations Maintain organization and traceability of client materials Identify discrepancies, damage, or missing information and communicate issues to the appropriate team members Coordinate with engineers, project managers, quality personnel, and laboratory staff Prepare and package materials and devices for outgoing shipments Must be able to lift, carry, and move up to 25 lbs. and stand for extended periods Assist with inventory and organization of laboratory materials and supplies Support light laboratory and prototype shop activities Maintain clean and organized receiving, storage, and laboratory areas Follow established procedures and our

quality system What We're Looking For Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Dependable and able to take ownership of day-to-day responsibilities Ability to follow written procedures and maintain accurate records Good written and verbal communication skills Comfortable with computers and electronic recordkeeping Willingness to perform hands-on work in a laboratory/shop environment Ability to manage multiple priorities and know when to ask questions Positive, team-oriented attitude and eagerness to learn Previous experience in receiving, inventory, shipping, laboratory operations, manufacturing, or another technical environment is preferred but not required. Experience in a regulated industry is a plus. As experience and technical skills develop, there may be opportunities to take on additional responsibilities within laboratory operations and technical testing.
Pay:
$30.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 per week
