6 months Job Summary Parker Aerospace is seeking a Quality Technician I with 4+ years of quality inspection experience, preferably within an aerospace or manufacturing environment. certification/knowledge AS9102 certification/knowledge Essential Job Functions Assist with the development and improvement of incoming and outgoing inspection processes. Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and related technical documentation. Work with internal customers to accurately document quality issues. Document and maintain nonconformance reports and communicate quality issues effectively. Enter transactions to move material appropriately and create Non-Conforming Material Reports (NCMRs). Assign corrective-action items to appropriate personnel and follow up on resolution. Participate in Corrective Action Teams (CAT) and/or High Performance Teams (HPT). Assist with identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions. Inspect customer-returned material, determine disposition, and submit credit requests as required. Maintain, control, update, and distribute quality-system documentation. Follow all established safety and environmental policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Skills Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures. Working knowledge of part drawings and dimensional measurement tools. Basic electrical knowledge for testing the functionality of electrical components. Knowledge of inspection techniques, quality/statistical tools, instruments, and equipment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn company-specific business systems. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Ability to support and maintain effective quality systems and contribute to continuous improvement. Education Associate in Applied Science degree preferred, OR High school diploma with equivalent relevant experience
