In this vital role, you will ensure that all machined components meet rigorous quality standards by performing precise inspections and maintaining compliance with industry regulations. Your keen eye for detail and mechanical expertise will help uphold our commitment to excellence, safety, and regulatory adherence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-quality production processes while working flexible hours that fit your schedule. Duties Conduct dimensional and visual inspections of machined parts using precision measuring instruments such as height gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and vision inspection systems. Interpret mechanical blueprints, manufacturing documents, and technical drawings to verify specifications and tolerances. Perform quality audits in accordance with
ISO 9001, ISO 13485, GMP
(Good Manufacturing Practice), FDA regulations, and other regulatory standards to ensure compliance throughout the production process. Utilize measurement instruments including calipers, micrometers, and GDT (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) principles to assess product quality accurately. Document inspection results meticulously, collect data for analysis, and maintain detailed records in compliance with quality management systems. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to identify root causes of quality issues and support continuous improvement initiatives. Support calibration and maintenance of measuring instruments to guarantee measurement accuracy and reliability. Qualifications Proven experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing or machine shop environment, with a strong understanding of quality assurance processes such as QA/QC procedures. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings confidently. Familiarity with industry standards including
ISO 9001, ISO 13485, GMP, HACCP, FDA
regulations, and CGMP practices. Proficiency in using precision measurement tools like height gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), vision inspection systems, and other measuring instruments. Strong analysis skills for evaluating measurement data against specified tolerances and quality standards in production. Basic math skills for calculating measurements and tolerances accurately. Experience conducting quality audits and working within quality management systems aligned with ISO standards. Knowledge of manufacturing processes, regulatory/legal compliance standards in production, and the application of GD&T principles for dimensional measurements.
