Manufacturing Full Job Description Job Purpose:

Maintains quality standards by inspecting in-process parts and final inspection of finished parts; recording measurement results.

Job Duties:

Checks in-process part measurements and final part measurements using hand inspection tools, (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc.) Doing in-process and First Article Inspections Approves/Rejects finished parts using inspector's supervisors instructed technique. Documents will be completed as instructed by inspector's supervisor.

Qualifications:

Understanding of manufacturing/production methods and processes Works quickly and accurately Ability to follow established system for part inspection and schedule Accurately complete First Article Inspection Reports (FADIR) Ability to work with tight tolerances (.000X) 2+ years of Detailed and Diligent inspection of parts Job shop or manufacturing experience Ability to read blueprints using

GD & T Preferred Qualifications:

CMM FARO or

ROMER ARM
