•$21.50 an hour 9 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Qualifications Computer operation Calibration Computer literacy Spreadsheets Shop math High school diploma or GED Manufacturing facility experience Quality audits Full Job Description Our client, a medical device manufacturing company, is looking for a Quality Assurance Technician to join their team in Tustin, CA . In this role, you will perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of custom medical cable assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform incoming inspection activities including first article inspection Perform in-process inspections and periodic audits of manufacturing work-in-process Perform final inspection and product release Inspect products for workmanship, defects, and compliance with specifications Review production and inspection paperwork to ensure required inspections and traceability are properly documented Use basic measurement and inspection tools including rulers, scales, micrometers, calipers, and gauges Accurately record inspection and process documentation Assist with quality investigations, corrective action activities, and quality audits Coordinate or assist with preventive maintenance and calibration activities

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required Basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel Basic math skills including fractions, cross multiplication, and calculator use Good analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify potential quality issues

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous quality inspection experience Experience with electro-mechanical assemblies, cable assemblies, wire harnesses, or medical devices Experience using calipers, micrometers, gauges, or other precision measuring tools Ability to read basic engineering or assembly drawings Experience in an FDA/QSR-regulated manufacturing environment Associate degree or technical certification in electronics, manufacturing, quality, or a related field Working knowledge of IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620, and J-STD standards

Pay Rate:

$20.00

•$21.50 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule:

Monday

•Friday, 2:00 PM

•10:30 PM Overtime and Saturday availability required as needed
