We're looking for an outgoing, dependable Beertender who enjoys working with people and thrives in a busy team environment. Position Overview As a Beertender, you'll create a welcoming experience for every guest while serving beer, wine, and other beverages accurately and responsibly. You'll help guests choose from our rotating beer selection, take food orders, maintain a clean bar area, and work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house team. You don't need to be a craft beer expert—we'll help you learn—but you should be friendly, attentive, comfortable speaking with guests, and eager to learn. Responsibilities Welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive service Take food and beverage orders accurately Pour and serve draft beer, canned beer, wine, and other beverages Learn our rotating beer selection and make recommendations Check identification and serve alcohol responsibly Enter orders and process payments through the POS system Keep the bar, taps, glassware, and surrounding areas clean and organized Restock beer, glassware, ice, and other supplies Monitor guests and follow responsible alcohol-service practices Help run food, clear tables, and support the team during busy periods Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company procedures Complete opening and closing duties as assigned What We're Looking For Must be at least 21 years old Friendly, positive, and comfortable talking with guests Dependable and able to arrive on time for scheduled shifts Able to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Previous restaurant, bar, or customer-service experience is preferred but not required Beer knowledge is helpful, but a willingness to learn is more important Must obtain and maintain all required food-handler and responsible beverage-service certifications Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Ability to bend, reach, carry trays, and safely move beer kegs or supplies with assistance when needed Why Join Best Pizza & Brew?
