MedSafety Solutions is growing and so is our need for a Quality Control Associate. Quality Control Associate The Quality Control Associate is responsible for Quality activities in collaboration with other teams to support product quality from design to delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Device History Record (DHR) review and verification for completeness, accuracy, and correctness of content per procedure, prior to signature release of the product. Inspection of finished products to ensure they meet required quality standards and specifications. Inspection of materials received for obvious damage upon receipt, material verification (e.g. part number), and quantity. Inspection of materials received in accordance with associated material Inspection Forms to ensure they meet required quality standards and specifications. Initiate and support non-conforming material documentation for any component or product that was determined to not meet quality standards or specifications per procedures. Conduct/support root cause analysis for defects and non-conformances. Analyze results of inspections to identify and address potential trends of defects or departures from quality standards or specifications. Collaborate with various teams to improve and rectify quality issues. Recommend corrective actions when necessary and follow up to ensure that these actions have been effectively implemented.
Position Requirements:
A fun-loving attitude. A resilient mindset. A grateful spirit. Degree preferred with 5+ years' experience in a Quality or related function within the medical device or other FDA regulated industry. Experience working with Operations/Manufacturing environments. Working knowledge of productivity, presentation, communication, and collaboration software (e.g. Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to utilize inspection tools/processes including but not limited to AQL sampling plans, TAPPI charts, scales, and go-no-go gauges. Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner. Technical writing skills. This position involves conducting various physical activities, requiring the ability to lift 50 lbs. Capable of forklift operator certification. Must be onsite and in the office to perform duties.
Compensation and Benefits Hourly Range:
$28.00 - $32.00 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the candidate, and alignment with market data). In addition to salary, this position is eligible to participate in the quarterly profit-sharing plan based upon company performance. MedSafety Solutions offers a comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental and vision coverage, company-paid short/long-term disability insurance, and company-paid basic life insurance. MedSafety Solutions has a Flexible Paid Time Off (PTO) Plan, 15 paid days off per year (comprised of Holidays, Floating Holidays, your Birthday and planned company closed days). Lastly, MedSafety Solutions also provides a 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan with a company match.
