Purpose:
The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for supporting CTI's Quality program and the Director of Quality in all aspects of the quality system operations. The QA Technician will be responsible for finished inspections of inks & slurry, maintaining a lab atmosphere, supporting the Sales, Production, and Research & Development teams in special projects.
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience At least 1 year working experience. Quality Assurance or manufacturing experience preferred.
Education:
High school graduate/GED; 18 years of age
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
The successful candidate for the position of Quality Assurance Technician will have a strong attention to detail and aptitude for math and chemistry. CTI makes specialty inks and the technician will be required to discern gradient differences in color and texture. Proficient reading & writing skills are necessary to read, write and comprehend documents of a technical nature. Able to interact well with employees at all levels in the organization. Most importantly, the QA Technician will have excellent work ethic.
Work Environment:
Work is predominantly preformed in a laboratory, on testing equipment, physical property, and in common areas. Incumbent may be required to work extended business hours to include overtime and holidays/weekends.

- Constant use of ears; constant eye, hand, and finger coordination enabling the use of computer and testing equipment & utensils.

- Occasional interaction with toxic and/or hazardous chemicals.
