Quality Inspector
Job Description
QUALITY INSPECTOR
If you're the type who spots the tiny details other people miss, the dimension that's just slightly off, the edge that doesn't look quite right, the measurement worth checking one more time, you'll thrive here. At Accu-Precision, quality isn't a checklist. It's part of everything we do. We make high-precision components for aerospace and advanced manufacturing and some of what we make actually leaves the planet. From parts that travel through the stratosphere to components supporting critical technology here on Earth, the work you inspect can go pretty far. Like… outer-space far. As a Quality Inspector, you'll be one of the people making sure it's right before it gets there. What You'll Do You'll work hands-on with precision-machined components, using blueprints, GD&T, customer specifications, and precision measuring equipment to verify that parts meet requirements. That means performing first-piece and final inspections, documenting results, and working alongside machinists and other members of the Quality team to solve problems and keep quality moving in the right direction. Depending on the job, you may use tools including micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, height gauges, optical comparators, CMMs, and
GO/NO-GO
gauges. Our air-conditioned, temperature-controlled facility provides the stable environment precision work demands
•and a comfortable place to do it. We invest in good people, training, and technology because all three matter. Whether you're continuing to build your inspection skills or bringing years of experience with you, you'll have opportunities to keep learning and growing in your craft. What We're Looking For You don't need to check every box to bring something valuable to the team. We're looking for someone who takes pride in accurate work, has a strong eye for detail, and understands why the smallest measurements can make a very big difference. High school diploma or equivalent Quality inspection experience preferred Experience using precision measuring instruments Ability to read and interpret blueprints Working knowledge of GD&T Manufacturing experience is a plus CMM experience or programming knowledge is highly desirable Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively Due to ITAR requirements, applicants must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident We live by our values: Self-improvement Attention to Detail Integrity Teamwork Communication Success And while the work may be precise, the culture doesn't have to be stiff. From summer picnics and holiday parties to chili cookoffs and pie bake-offs, we make time to enjoy the people we work with, too. If you take pride in precision, like solving problems, and want to work on components that go beyond the ordinary
•sometimes way beyond it
