We work with clients across natural product industries who need rigorous, defensible analytical data. As we grow, we are looking for someone who can help expand our client base while speaking credibly to the science behind our testing services. What You Will Do Build and manage relationships with clients in the natural products, botanicals, cannabis/hemp, and natural medicine testing space. Translate Tryptomics' analytical capabilities (GC-MS, LC-MS, compound identification, potency and purity testing) into clear value propositions for prospective clients. Develop and execute outbound sales strategies, respond to inbound inquiries, and manage a sales pipeline from lead to close. Collaborate closely with our lab scientists and technical staff to scope testing packages, quote turnaround times, and ensure client needs align with lab capabilities. Represent Tryptomics at trade shows, industry conferences, and client site visits. Provide technical consultation to clients on testing methodology, regulatory requirements, and sample submission best practices. Comfort working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and coordinating with cross-functional scientific and business teams. Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular sales forecasting and reporting to leadership. Required Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree (chemistry, biology, biochemistry, or related scientific field strongly preferred). Experience in science/technical testing sales — you understand how to sell analytical or laboratory testing services, not just general B2B sales. 1+ years of experience in science/technical sales Experience with natural products — botanicals, nutraceuticals, cannabis/hemp, mushrooms, essential oils, herbal extracts, or related industries. Work Environment & Physical Requirements Ability to stand for periods of time, reach, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs with assistance. Work in manufacturing and laboratory areas with exposure to chemicals, microbiological contaminants, and equipment. Preferred Qualifications Master's of Science degree (chemistry, biology, biochemistry, or related scientific field strongly preferred). Familiarity with analytical chemistry techniques (GC-MS, LC-MS, HPLC) sufficient to discuss methodology with technical clients. Existing network of contacts in the cannabis, natural medicine, dietary supplement, or botanical testing industry. Experience with CRM platforms and sales pipeline management. Understanding relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g., ISO 17025, c
GMP, USP, AOAC
methods).
Compensation and Benefits Pay Rate:
Starting at $18.00 - $20.00 / hour (commensurate with experience).
