About the Role As a Metrology Technician and CMM Programmer, you will serve as a critical technical resource for ensuring the highest levels of precision and quality in our manufacturing processes. You will leverage your expertise in advanced inspection software and GD&T to develop robust measurement strategies, ultimately safeguarding product integrity and driving continuous improvement in our quality systems. Responsibilities Develop and optimize automated inspection programs for first-article, in-process, and final quality verification. Design and procure custom work-holding fixtures to ensure measurement accuracy and repeatability. Conduct Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and Gage R&R studies to minimize measurement risk and bias. Maintain and calibrate advanced metrology equipment, including CMMs and vision systems, to ensure traceability. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to define inspection criteria and resolve root cause quality issues. Create comprehensive work instructions and provide technical training to operators on inspection equipment. Update inspection documentation and programs to reflect engineering changes and process improvements. Qualifications Required Skills Minimum of 3 years of experience in advanced metrology and CMM programming. Proficiency in GD&T (ASME Y14.5) and technical drawing interpretation. Hands-on experience with CMM software such as Calypso or PC-DMIS. Strong background in 3D modeling and precision measurement instrumentation. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Preferred Skills Experience in regulated industries such as Aerospace, Medical Device, or Defense. Knowledge of ISO/GMP quality standards and compliance requirements. Familiarity with 3D metrology, CT scanning, or white light systems. Associate's degree in a manufacturing or engineering-related discipline.
