Bristol, CT Job Details Full-time $16.94 - $18.00 an hour 3 hours ago Benefits Health insurance 401(k) Paid time off Qualifications Computer operation Basic math Manufacturing facility experience Attention to detail Manufacturing Full Job Description Quality Control Inspector - Plastic Injection Molding Better Molded Products is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector for our plastic injection molding facility in Bristol, Connecticut. The inspector will verify that molded parts meet customer drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
Responsibilities:
Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections of molded parts. Inspect parts for visual defects, including contamination, flash, short shots, discoloration, and damage. Measure parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection equipment. Compare parts with customer drawings, specifications, approved samples, and inspection instructions. Complete inspection records accurately and maintain organized quality documentation. Identify, label, and separate nonconforming products. Report quality problems promptly to production supervisors and management. Work with production employees to correct quality issues and prevent defective parts from being shipped. Maintain a clean and organized inspection area.
Qualifications:
Previous quality inspection or manufacturing experience is preferred. Plastic injection molding experience is strongly preferred. Familiarity with calipers, micrometers, and basic measuring equipment is preferred. Ability to read basic drawings, specifications, and work instructions. Basic math and computer skills. Strong attention to detail and accurate recordkeeping. Dependable, organized, and able to communicate effectively. Ability to work independently and as part of a manufacturing team. This is a full-time, in-person position at our facility in Bristol, Connecticut. Better Molded Products is an equal opportunity employer. Pay:
