Nordex, Inc. is an engineering-driven company, with major operations regarding gear manufacturing, CNC machining, and assemblies, for the medical device, robotics, automation, aerospace, and defense industries. This position will give you ample exposure to machined parts and manufacturing requirements, while honing your CNC programming skills on our CMM. Responsibilities:

Verify dimensional conformance to drawing requirements using precision measuring equipment in accordance with documented procedures. Verify that all operations have been completed by reviewing work order traveler and purchase order requirements. Record objective evidence data in accordance with documented procedures. Draft first article inspection reports. Report non-conforming conditions to inspection supervisor and prepare MDR forms as required. Verify that incoming and in-process product and materials are properly identified for subsequent operations. Operate and program CMM.

Qualifications:

Expert at blueprint reading. At least 5 years of hands-on experience using precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, height gages, plug and ring gages, profilometers, etc. Experience operating/programming a CMM (or other CNC machine programming experience). Strong visual inspection skills and attention to detail. Knowledgeable in Word and Excel. Must be a U.S. person, in accordance with
