Job Description

An aerospace manufacturer is hiring a Quality Bench Inspector to ensure precision parts, materials, and supporting documentation comply with all customer, engineering, and internal quality requirements.

Key DutiesInspect incoming, in-process, and completed components through visual, dimensional, and layout inspection methods.

Read blueprints, operation sheets, purchase orders, and certifications to verify part compliance.

Complete first-piece and First Article Inspections and document results using inspection method sheets.

Review special-process certifications and maintain accurate quality records.

Use inspection software, including InspectionXpert or Net-Inspect, as applicable.

Required Background2-8 years of inspection experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing.

Strong GD&T, blueprint interpretation, and dimensional-layout inspection skills.

Ability to assess manufacturing processes and apply practical shop math.

Effective communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; experience with InspectionXpert or Net-Inspect is preferred.
