Job Description

Small Parts Quality Control Inspector We are seeking an experienced Small Parts Inspector to join a manufacturing team responsible for producing highly detailed, precision components. This role is ideal for someone with strong inspection skills who is comfortable working with detailed specifications, engineering drawings, and a variety of precision measuring equipment. Contract with potential of hire, $28 per hour Responsibilities Inspect in-process parts, purchased components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies Perform first-piece inspections and verify parts meet required specifications Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions Use a wide range of precision measuring and inspection equipment Perform detailed visual inspections using microscopes Verify manufacturing processes are operating within required parameters Identify defects and help determine root causes of rejected parts Maintain accurate lot control records and required certifications Document inspection results and communicate quality issues to production Ensure finished products meet quality requirements prior to shipment Qualifications 2+ years of inspection experience in a manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of precision measuring equipment and inspection techniques Experience using microscopes for detailed inspection Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and detailed specifications Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Ability to inspect very small, intricate, and highly detailed components Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills Comfortable working independently and maintaining detailed documentation
