Location:
Manchester, Connecticut CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking a Quality Inspector in the Manchester, CT area. As a Production Quality Inspector, you'll ensure our manufactured parts and assemblies meet rigorous aerospace standards for safety, reliability, and performance. You'll own inspections across the full production lifecycle—in-process, first article, and final—and play a critical role in verifying every component is compliant before it's cleared for shipment or flight.Responsibilities:
Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of manufactured products and components to verify quality and compliance requirements. Verify compliance with engineering specifications, customer requirements, industry standards, and internal quality procedures. Use precision measuring equipment to validate product characteristics, dimensions, and tolerance requirements. Perform and document validation inspections for new products, revised designs, and process changes. Maintain accurate quality records, inspection reports, and traceability documentation in accordance with aerospace standards. Investigate, document, and support the resolution of quality issues through corrective action and continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to address nonconforming conditions and improve product quality. Assist with quality management system audits, compliance activities, and regulatory requirements.Desired Background/Skills:
Minimum of three years of quality inspection experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment. Strong proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Expert ability to read, interpret, and evaluate aerospace blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical manuals.Other Information:
