Job Description

Enjet Aero machines and fabricates complex jet engine parts, components and assemblies for leading OEMs in the commercial, defense and general aviation sectors. Position Description:
The Aerospace Incoming Inspector is responsible for verifying that purchased materials, components, and assemblies meet established aerospace quality standards and customer requirements before being released to production. This role ensures compliance with applicable specifications, drawings, contracts, and industry regulations such as AS9100.
Essential Responsibilities:
Perform incoming inspection of raw materials, hardware, components, and assemblies per inspection plans, drawings, and specifications Verify certificates of conformance (CoC), test reports, and supplier documentation for accuracy and compliance Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional inspections using calibrated inspection tools Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, specifications, and purchase order requirements Record inspection results accurately in quality systems and inspection reports Identify, document, and segregate nonconforming material in accordance with company procedures Initiate and support nonconformance reports (NCRs) and supplier corrective actions Maintain traceability and inspection status identification of materials Support audits (internal, customer, and regulatory) as required Communicate inspection results and issues clearly with Quality, Engineering, Purchasing, and Manufacturing teams Follow AS9100, and company quality policies and procedures Maintain a clean, safe, and organized inspection area Other duties that may be assigned by your supervisor
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required 2+ years of inspection experience in an aerospace or regulated manufacturing environment Previous Supplier Quality or receiving inspection experience Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications Proficiency with inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, thread gauges, and optical comparators Working knowledge of GD&T Familiarity with aerospace materials, hardware, and certifications Basic computer skills (ERP/MRP systems, Microsoft Office) Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
