Precision Parts Quality Control Inspector Middletown area | Contract with potential for hire $20 - $24per hour based on experience Are you detail-oriented with experience inspecting precision machined parts We're hiring a Quality Control Inspector with blueprint & GD&T experience to join a reputable, team-focused machine shop in the Middletown area. This is a great opportunity to work with a stable company that values precision, teamwork, and quality craftsmanship. Responsibilities Perform in-process and final inspections of machined components Read and interpret engineering blueprints, schematics, and GD&T requirements Use precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, and gauges Verify dimensions and tolerances meet engineering specifications Accurately document inspection results and quality findings Enter inspection data and maintain records using basic computer programs (Word & Excel) Communicate quality concerns and discrepancies with the production and engineering teams Qualifications Prior quality inspection experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and GD&T on blueprints (required) Experience using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges Strong understanding of dimensional tolerances and inspection processes Comfortable using basic hand tools Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel) Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality Don't miss out on this quality control opportunity!
