Established in 1997 and headquartered in South Windsor, Connecticut, our team specializes in producing complex, tight-tolerance components through CNC turning, multi-axis milling, and Swiss screw machining. certified, upholding the highest standards of quality and traceability.Position Summary:
Accuturn is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our quality department as a Quality Inspector. This full-time position is ideal for individuals who have 2+ years of experience and are interested in continuing a career in advanced manufacturing and quality assurance. The role involves supporting production by verifying part conformance through precise measurement and documentation practices as well as the use of advanced metrology equipment and technologies.Key Responsibilities:
Modify, apply and maintain quality evaluation to approve 1st piece, in-process and final inspections as required by work instructions using appropriate metrology equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, height gages, optical comparators, CMM). Run CMM to measure complex turned and milled components. Collaborate with CNC operators, programmers, and engineers to resolve quality issues. Support in the completion of PFMEA, Root Cause Analysis, Corrective Action, Process Flow and Control Plans, PPAP, documentation of non-conforming product, and function as a part of the MRB. Contribute to the creation of proactive quality initiative strategies and help drive their implementation. Complete inspections per customer standards while complying withISO 9001
2000 and AS9100 quality requirements. Support other Quality Department functions as needed and other duties and/or responsibilities assigned by supervisor/manager.Requirements:
2+ years of experience working within a manufacturing quality department. 2+ years of experience independently checking parts utilizing common measurement tools (such as calipers, micrometers, and indicators) and inspection techniques. Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.Key Skills:

Preferred Skills:
Technical training or coursework in manufacturing, machining, or quality. 1+ years of experience with running CMMs (preferably using Calypso).Growth Opportunities:
