Job Description

Job Summary Quality Inspector needed for a 6+ month contract opportunity supporting a manufacturing operation. This role performs incoming, in-process, and line-side inspections while driving supplier quality, nonconformance, and corrective action processes. The inspector will conduct internal audits, maintain QMS documentation, and work cross-functionally to align production with customer quality requirements. This position moves quickly, so early availability is helpful. Responsibilities Perform and oversee incoming, in-process, and line-side inspections to ensure production and quality protocols are met Monitor supplier quality and handle non-conforming materials Drive the Supplier Nonconformance Report (NCR) and Material Review Board (MRB) processes Conduct internal audits and manage internal corrective actions (CAPA), validating their effectiveness Update work instructions and maintain QMS documentation Coordinate calibration processes Align operations with customer requirements and special instructions Participate in customer complaint resolution Promote cross-functional teamwork and maintain a safe workplace Requirements Minimum 2 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment Working knowledge of
ISO 9001
2015 standards Proficiency in root cause problem-solving methods including 5 Whys, Fishbone, and RCCA Experience with APQP, control plans, and PFMEA Strong data analysis skills and computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite and SAP/QMS software Ability to manage competing priorities, resolve conflicts, and communicate at all levels Associate's degree in engineering or equivalent work experience Quality Assurance certification a plus #GRPB Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled.
