Quality Inspector - Small Parts $28/hour | Contract-to-Hire | Manufacturing Are you an experienced Quality or Manufacturing Inspector with a strong background inspecting small, precision components Our client is looking for a skilled inspector with 2+ years of hands-on manufacturing inspection experience. This position requires someone who is comfortable working independently with engineering drawings, detailed specifications, microscopes, and precision measuring equipment. What You'll Do Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections on precision parts, components, sub-assemblies, and finished products Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions Use a variety of precision measuring and inspection equipment Perform detailed visual inspections using microscopes Verify parts and manufacturing processes meet established specifications Identify defects and assist with root-cause analysis of quality issues Maintain accurate inspection, lot control, and certification records Document inspection results and communicate quality concerns with production Confirm finished products meet quality standards before shipment What You Bring 2+ years of manufacturing inspection experience Strong knowledge of precision measurement and inspection techniques Experience inspecting small, intricate, or highly detailed components Experience using a microscope for detailed inspection Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to identify quality issues and assist with root-cause investigations Ability to work independently and maintain detailed inspection records
