Job Description
Position Overview:
The Quality Control Specialist I is responsible for ensuring that products meet established quality standards and specifications within our production facility. This role involves inspecting, testing, and monitoring production processes to ensure compliance with company and customer requirements. The Quality Control Specialist works closely with production teams to identify and address quality issues, maintain documentation, and support continuous improvement efforts. ScheduleM-F, 8AM-5PM
Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections and tests on incoming products and finished goods to ensure compliance with specifications
- Identify defects or deviations and communicate findings to the appropriate teams
- Collaborate with team members to investigate and resolve quality issues
- Approve or reject materials and products based on established criteria
- Document and log information into spreadsheets and databases
- Pull inventory or stock inventory by hand or using a forklift
- Update procedures for quality department as needed
- Support continuous improvement projects
- 6S area of responsibility
Qualifications:
- Ability to follow and enforce fulfillment guidelines and best practices.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Previous experience in a quality department preferred.
- Proficiency with print production software and equipment (e.g., Fiery Command WorkStation, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Physical ability to lift materials up to 50lbs. and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Pay Details:
