Job Description

Materials Engineer:
Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting research, testing, and analysis of materials and coatings to ensure they meet the required specifications and standards. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop new materials and improve existing ones, ensuring quality and performance in various applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct experiments and tests on materials to evaluate their properties, performance, and durability. Analyze test results and prepare detailed reports documenting findings and recommendations. Collaborate with design and engineering teams to develop new materials and improve existing formulations. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all materials testing and analysis. Utilize advanced analytical techniques and equipment to assess material characteristics. Maintain accurate records of experiments, tests, and results in accordance with laboratory protocols. Stay updated on the latest developments in materials science and engineering.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Materials Science, Materials Engineering, or a related field; Proven experience in a materials lab or similar environment. Strong understanding of material properties, testing methods, and analysis techniques. Experience with materials characterization techniques (e.g., SEM, XRD, FTIR). Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and software for data analysis. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Job Types:

$25.00 - $45.00 per hour
