Back Home Bakery Café is currently seeking a year-round, part-time, exceptional Salad, Sandwich, Kitchen Production staff member to join our growing team! You must be at least 18 years old and available to work on Saturdays. This position is responsible for preparing and completing lunch salad/sandwich orders and assisting bakery production when needed. As a salad/sandwich maker, you'll prepare sandwiches with speed and accuracy, while engaging with guests and delivering excellent hospitality. You will be chopping vegetables, slicing meats, mixing sauces and making chicken salad. You may be assisting the bakers with scooping cookies or measuring ingredients and completing recipes when needed. You'll be cleaning, washing dishes and sheet trays, restocking and sweeping and mopping the floor.

Be eager to learn new skills. Must be able to maintain grooming and uniform standards. Must be 18 years old.

Physical Requirements:

Be prepared to be on your feet all day. This is a physically active role. Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, push, pull, reach, and lift 50 lbs. Keep work area clean and well stocked. Ability to operate equipment such as a meat slicer, food processor, mixer, etc. Ability to perform cleaning duties such as washing dishes, sweeping, mopping, cleaning your work station.

Work Environment:

Must be able to work in an environment that is loud at times, be quick on your feet in busy and faced paced moments and at times tight spaces. Must be able to work around various aromas and fluctuating temperatures.

Schedule:

Shifts available: 5 days a week: Tuesday

•Saturday from 8:00 am

•3:00 pm. The current position requires the availability to work on Saturdays.

Compensation:

This position pays an average of $18.00

•$20.00 per hour including tips. (Base wage of $15.00 per hour plus $3

•5 per hour in pooled tips. At times, the tip pool will be higher than $5 per hour depending on holiday seasons or other factors).
