onsite Quality Technician Your Mission As a Quality Technician, you will be responsible for day-to-day tasks that support the organization's goal of reducing non-conforming outputs. You will assist in prevention by helping new employees with quality checks and ensuring that CMM programs remain up to date. Additionally, you should be able to identify the root cause of manufacturing process nonconformances How you will make a differenceEnsuring Quality and Compliance:
By thoroughly confirming nonconformances in critical areas, documenting and dispositioning issues, and communicating effectively, they help uphold high standards and prevent defects from reaching customers.Driving Improvements:
Identifying root cause(s) of nonconformances and supporting corrective actions means they actively contribute to long-term solutions rather than just addressing immediate problems.Enhancing Collaboration:
Working interdepartmentally strengthens teamwork and ensures that processes run smoothly across different teams.Ensuring Thorough Processing:
Proactively checking stock and quarantining / issuing final dispositions helps avoid unnecessary delays or errors in production and fulfillment.Educating Others:
Training new employees empowers them to succeed, improves workforce knowledge, and reinforces industry standards.Being Adaptable:
Handling miscellaneous duties showcases versatility, making them a reliable resource in different areas. What you should be good at Educational and Experience requirements: A high school diploma orGED. 1-2
years relevance experience in Quality. 5-7 years of experience in manufacturing. Technical Skills Ability to use various metrology tools effectively, including: Calipers, Micrometer, Go/No-Go Gauges, Indicator, Hardness Tester, Profilometer, Optical Comparator, and Coordinate Measuring Machine basics. Ability to read and comprehend engineering drawings/blueprints.Mathematical Skills:
Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with two-digit numbers.Language Skills:
Demonstrated proficiency in English. Strong ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Excellent capability to write clear and concise correspondence. Effective presentation skills for engaging in one-on-one and small group interactions with customers, clients, and colleagues.Computer Skills:
