Job Description

Rapidly growing, established aviation maintenance company in Fort Lauderdale, Florida is seeking a Quality Control Inspector with experience in aircraft component maintenance. Quality Control Inspector (Fort Lauderdale, FL)
Responsibilities:
Assist with correcting paperwork and production errors during in-process inspections. Support Production with work order processing including testing, disassembly and assembly. Ensure all Repair Station personnel comply with FAA, and Company Policies and Procedures. Compile information for new projects and author technical instruction as necessary. Collaborate with Production for effective throughput with a focus on world-class customer satisfaction. Manage Technician Training Program. Oversee procedures to ensure completion of required inspections when tasks are worked over multiple shifts and personnel. Manage Tooling and Calibration Programs effectively. Perform Final Inspections on all work completed before it is released for Return to Service. Conduct internal and external facility audits as required. Ensure airworthiness for parts installed in any component. Ensure compliance with procedures for preliminary inspections, hidden damage inspections, inspection continuity and final inspection for items processed by the facility. Determine the final disposition of articles failing to meet the incoming inspection review. Audit all maintenance function contractors before use and maintain the results of those audits.
Requirements:
A&P License required Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of aircraft maintenance procedures and FAA guidelines. Ability to meet deadlines for projects assigned. Proficient in MS Office suite. Technical writing experience. Desire to succeed in a high-paced, multi-tasking environment. Ability to work well with others. Self-starter. Highly organized. Punctual.
Compensation:
Company offers a complete benefits package including flexible hours, medical, and dental insurance
Pay:
$24.00 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
