The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality operations and be proficient in compiling data, producing reports and coordinating daily, weekly and monthly activities for the quality department.
Essential Responsibilities:
Maintain QT9 quality management system; update records, send calendar reminders, etc. Completes and maintains accurate records and compiles requisite QA reports on defects, key metrics, KPIs, etc. Gather data by reviewing a specific established baseline to ensure compliance with internal and external, policies and procedures. Assist in investigations, deviations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement and update associated documentation and records. Maintain calibration schedule for equipment according to established timelines. Coordinate and advise timelines and schedules. Actively engage in team and self-development with focus on general methodologies and principles of quality. Analyze data from inspections to identify trends and areas for improvement. Document findings from quality inspections and audits, providing detailed reports for management review. Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance protocols. Work and support quality department in preparation for annual audits. Maintain a strong commitment to quality, always.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma required. At least 2 years of college level coursework or a combination of work experience and training. At least 2 years of experience with electronic components, PCBs, or other similar items in a manufacturing environment. Other similar quality experience may be considered in place of manufacturing experience. Knowledge, skills and abilities:
Communication:
interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, the general public, etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction. Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Powerpoint and Excel. Ability to create and management spreadsheets, formulas, etc. or the ability to become proficient within 6 months of employment. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. Must have an understanding of quality and inspection processes that include understanding standards, compliance aspects and corrective actions. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets. Some overtime required by all.
