In this role, you will be responsible for creating, repairing, and customizing high-quality fabric products that enhance interior spaces. Duties Measure fabric and materials accurately using measuring instruments to ensure precise cuts and fits for draperies, upholstery, and furniture coverings Cut fabric manually with sharp cutting tools following detailed patterns and specifications while maintaining safety standards in production Operate industrial sewing, Blind Hem, Serger machines, and to assemble fabric components with high quality standards in production Construct , draperies, cushions and furniture covers by sewing seams with proper seam construction techniques for durability and aesthetic appeal Handle materials carefully during transportation, storage, and assembly to prevent damage or waste Perform dimensional measurements throughout the manufacturing process to ensure consistency and adherence to client specifications Experience Proven experience working as a seamstress or upholsterer with a focus on draperies or furniture covering projects We will train the right candidate. Familiarity with measuring instruments such as rulers, tape measures, and fabric gauges Knowledge of quality standards in production to maintain high craftsmanship levels Skilled in seam construction, garment sewing, manual fabric cutting, and machine operation including industrial sewing machines and serging equipment Understanding of safety standards in production environments to ensure a safe workspace for all team members Experience working with various fabric materials including textiles used in upholstery and drapery applications Ability to interpret technical drawings or patterns accurately and execute sewing projects efficiently Join us if you're passionate about transforming fabrics into stunning finished products!
