Full Job Description Key Responsibilities:
Perform incoming, first article, in-process, and final inspections in accordance with established inspection procedures. Inspect internally manufactured assemblies and supplier products against engineering drawings, specifications, and workmanship requirements. Accurately document inspection results using applicable inspection records and company systems. Make product acceptance decisions based on engineering documentation, specifications, and established workmanship criteria. Identify, document, and communicate product discrepancies in accordance with company procedures. Prioritize inspection activities based on production schedules and business requirements. Read, interpret, and understand engineering drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), specifications, and other technical documentation. Use precision inspection equipment and hand tools, including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, surface plates, and related measuring instruments. Support inspection activities across multiple product lines, commodities, and manufacturing processes. Respond to quality and inspection-related questions from production, engineering, suppliers, and other cross-functional teams. Perform required SAP/Oracle transactions and maintain accurate quality and inspection records. Maintain required inspection skills, technical knowledge, certifications, and training. Follow established quality, safety, and inspection procedures at all times. Manage multiple inspection priorities and adjust workload to meet production and schedule requirements. Perform other quality and inspection duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Previous experience in quality inspection, manufacturing inspection, dimensional inspection, or a related technical environment. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and Bills of Materials. Experience performing incoming, first article, in-process, or final inspections. Proficiency using precision measurement and inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and surface plates . Experience documenting inspection results and product discrepancies. Working knowledge of quality standards, workmanship requirements, and inspection procedures. Experience using SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP/QMS systems for inspection and inventory transactions. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to prioritize multiple inspection tasks and meet production schedules. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively across multiple product lines and collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams.
Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
