Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Quality Assurance and Plan of Care Specialist to join our healthcare team. This role involves reviewing, monitoring, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of care plans, with a strong emphasis on medical knowledge and terminology. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of medical concepts to effectively evaluate and improve patient care processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices. Responsibilities Review and assess patient care plans for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to established protocols. Monitor the quality of care provided, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify medical terminology and ensure clarity in documentation. Maintain detailed records of quality assurance activities, findings, and corrective actions taken. Stay current with industry regulations, healthcare standards, and best practices related to patient care documentation. Assist in developing and updating policies related to quality assurance and care planning processes. Provide feedback and training to staff on documentation standards and medical terminology as needed. Conduct regular audits to ensure ongoing compliance and continuous improvement in care delivery. Qualifications Proven experience in healthcare quality assurance or a similar role within a clinical setting. Strong medical knowledge with proficiency in medical terminology and concepts. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies or errors in documentation. Good communication skills for collaborating effectively with healthcare professionals. Ability to interpret clinical data and apply industry standards to improve care quality. Knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and compliance requirements is preferred. Prior experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems is advantageous. Pay:
