Job Title:
Quality Control Technician Job Description This role supports quality assurance and inventory accuracy in a large on-site manufacturing and warehouse facility. The Quality Control Technician performs detailed product inspections, verifies inventory counts, and maintains accurate documentation to ensure that all finished goods meet established quality standards before release to production or shipment. Responsibilities Perform detailed quality inspections on products prior to release to production or shipment. Inspect materials, finishes, dimensions, and construction for defects, inconsistencies, or non-conformance with specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, product specifications, and dimensional tolerances to guide inspection activities. Use basic measuring tools, including tape measures, calipers, and gauges, to verify dimensions and tolerances. Document inspection results, quality findings, and non-conformance reports accurately and in a timely manner. Maintain organized and up-to-date quality and inventory inspection records. Communicate inspection findings clearly to production supervisors, team leads, and other relevant team members. Essential Skills 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing, quality control, or inspection environment. Experience in wood doors, cabinetry, millwork, or similar manufacturing environments is preferred. Knowledge of quality inspection methods, tools, and documentation practices. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, product specifications, and dimensional tolerances. Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify defects in materials, finishes, and construction. Proficiency using basic measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and gauges. Bilingual Spanish/English strongly preferred. Work Environment This is a full-time, on-site role based in a large manufacturing and warehouse facility in Orlando, Florida. The schedule runs Monday through Friday from 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orlando, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
