ASRC Federal System Solutions (AFSS) is seeking a Senior Quality Inspector to support NASA's Orion Program at Kennedy Space Center, Florida. In this role, you will help ensure the quality and reliability of spacecraft hardware supporting the next generation of human space exploration. Whether your background is in aerospace, manufacturing, electronics, aviation, or another technical field, this is an opportunity to contribute to one of the nation's most exciting space programs.
Location:
Kennedy Space Center, FL What You'll Do Perform electronic and electro-mechanical assembly and inspection activities supporting spacecraft production, development, and prototype hardware. Assemble, inspect, and verify components, subassemblies, and production units to ensure compliance with engineering drawings and quality requirements. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions. Utilize standard electronic assembly tools, measuring devices, and inspection equipment. Perform inspections of modifications, rework, repairs, and quality testing activities. Document inspection results and maintain accurate production and quality records. Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve issues and ensure mission success. Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and safety. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent with specialized technical training equivalent to a technical associate degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Three (3) or more years of experience in quality inspection, manufacturing, assembly, aerospace, electronics, or a related technical field. Strong ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. U.S. Citizenship required. Ability to successfully complete a government issued background investigation.
