Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and knowledgeable Beertender to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service in a lively, hospitality-focused environment, ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. The Beertender will handle beverage service, manage POS transactions, and maintain a clean and welcoming atmosphere. Experience with POS systems such as Arryved or Toast, along with a background in food and beverage service, is preferred. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting that combines hospitality, retail, and the food industry. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide expert recommendations on beer selections Serve beer and other beverages accurately using POS system Handle cash and credit transactions with precision, utilizing cash handling skills and basic math Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards Manage multiple tasks efficiently through excellent time management skills Ensure responsible serving practices, including verifying legal drinking age and monitoring intoxication levels Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed Engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere, promoting repeat business Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy hours, including nights and weekends Requirements Familiarity with POS systems preferred Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol serving practices Ability to handle cash handling accurately and efficiently Experience in fine dining, nightclub, banquet, catering, or restaurant environments is a plus Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts Basic math skills for sales transactions and inventory management Previous experience serving or bartending in the food industry is advantageous Join our team to deliver outstanding service in a vibrant environment where your hospitality skills can shine!
