PM Pay Range:
16.00 to 21.00 DOE Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to ensure that mechanical components and assemblies meet required specifications and quality standards. This role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to interpret technical documents, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Perform visual and dimensional inspections on mechanical components and assemblies to close tolerances Conduct inspections at all stages including first piece, in process, receiving, first article, and final product Interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications Identify and document defects and nonconformities including surface, dimensional, material, and workmanship issues Report issues to the appropriate supervisor and assist with resolution Maintain accurate inspection records, logs, and documentation Review and process certification documentation to meet customer requirements Manage and control nonconforming materials and products Enter orders, create job records, perform contract reviews, and coordinate with vendors Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in 5S activities Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive work culture Participate in cross training and perform additional duties as needed Qualifications and Skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to use inspection tools and perform gage calibration Excellent visual inspection capabilities Strong communication skills and self discipline Knowledge of quality standards including ISO 9001 and AS9100 Understanding of GD and T geometric dimensioning and tolerancing Familiarity with sampling methods including AQL levels and sampling tables Basic proficiency in computer applications training provided Ability to apply mathematical concepts and problem solving skills Strong analytical, organizational, and troubleshooting abilities Ability to apply logical and scientific thinking to practical problems
