You will inspect incoming raw materials, in-process fabrications, and outgoing products to guarantee strict adherence to technical specifications.
Key Responsibilities Inspection:
Review drawings and blueprints to inspect materials for visual quality, dimensions, correct specifications, and quantity. Assemble mock-ups as needed to test fit and functionality.
Documentation & Tagging:
Mark compliant items as "QC Accepted" and non-conforming items as "QC Rejected." Log results on drawings, maintain quality records, and report findings to the HSQE Supervisor.
Process & Program Support:
Apply product decals and stage material neatly. Champion our Quality at the Source program by encouraging shop-floor team members to perform self-checks.
Tool Care:
Maintain and track calibration for all precision measuring instruments and inspection tools. Qualifications 1+ years of QC inspection experience in a manufacturing or metal fabrication setting. Proven ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specs. Proficient with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges). Uncompromising attention to detail, communication skills, and high reliability.
