Full Job Description Position:
QA/QC Administrator Reports to:
QA/QC Manager Department:
QA/QC Status:
Regular Full-Time;
Exempt Key Responsibilities:
Maintain quality control procedures for welding processes Collaborate with field QA/QC to ensure documents are accurate, timely and are in contractual compliance. Coordinate with 3rd party contractors to ensure clear operation at client sites Maintain accurate records and documentation of welding Quality Control activities and results Ensure compliance with industry standards, such as AWS (American Welding Society) and ISO (International Organization for Standardization) Maintain a safe work environment by ensuring that welding equipment is properly maintained and safety procedures are followed Collaborate with other departments, such as production, engineering, and sales to continuously improve the welding quality control process Assist in the development of Quality Control work flow procedures for current and prospective projects Screen, interview, and assess QC job applicants for competence, experience, and qualifications Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future opportunities Develop tools and documents to continuously improve interdepartmental communication and record keeping This is primarily a QA / QC focused position, however, this position is also intended to help all other teams as needed
Primary Skill Set:
MS Office Suite, all programs Knowing Adobe Pro would be a plus Knowing Blue Beam would be a plus Detail Oriented Team Player Ability to work with teams from other offices Ability to pull information together, coordinate / assemble Ability to understand technical data / terminology Ability to adapt to a changing environment
Background and Experience:
Strong interoffice computer skills Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) Knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and industry standards Strong attention to detail and ability to identify errors. Ability to effectively communicate with field personnel, management, and other stakeholders Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Agile to adapt quickly to changing requests. #LI-KN1
