Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. This position involves working closely with production teams to implement quality assurance processes and maintain compliance with industry regulations. The Quality Technician will be responsible for conducting inspections, performing audits, and utilizing various quality systems to uphold our commitment to excellence. Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections of products throughout the manufacturing process to ensure adherence to quality standards. Utilize quality management systems and tools, including Calypso and vision inspection systems, for accurate data collection and analysis. Perform quality audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with CGMP regulations. Collaborate with production teams to develop and implement effective quality assurance protocols. Document findings from inspections and audits, providing detailed reports on product quality and compliance issues. Assist in the fabrication of testing equipment or tools as needed to enhance inspection processes. Participate in training sessions related to QA/QC practices and promote a culture of quality within the organization. Requirements Proven experience in quality assurance or quality control within a manufacturing environment. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for identifying defects or non-conformance in products. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams. Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement in quality processes. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, formatting, sorting/filtering, basic functions like VLOOKUP or pivot tables)
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit, stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Some light lifting. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
