This role is a critical part of our manufacturing operation and serves as the final quality checkpoint before our products are delivered to customers. As a Fabric Inspector, you will carefully examine fabric for defects, identify and classify quality issues, and create electronic inspection records that document the severity and location of defects throughout each roll of fabric. The position requires strong attention to detail, good visual acuity, and the ability to recognize defects based on established quality standards and training. At DNA Technical Fabrics, we manufacture high-performance technical fabrics used in demanding applications where quality is essential. Our customers depend on us to deliver products that meet exact specifications, and the Fabric Inspector plays a vital role in ensuring that commitment is met. Key Responsibilities Visually inspect fabric rolls for quality defects and irregularities. Accurately identify and classify defects according to established inspection standards. Record inspection results electronically, including defect type, severity, and yardage location. Verify that finished fabric meets customer and company quality requirements. Maintain inspection accuracy and consistency throughout the production process. Communicate quality concerns to supervisors and production personnel when necessary. Contribute to continuous improvement efforts related to product quality. Qualifications Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain focus during repetitive tasks. Good vision and the ability to distinguish fabric defects and variations. Basic computer skills for electronic recordkeeping. Ability to follow written procedures and quality standards. Manufacturing or textile experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
