Job Description

  • This position is responsible for dimensional checks for in process, first-article and final inspections of parts. Must be fluent in fabrication/machining blueprint reading as well as dimensional measuring with tape measure and dial calipers. (This is not a visual quality inspector position.)
  • Successful completion of written and practical dimensional inspection skills assessment is required to receive a job offer.

  • Pre-employment drug screen required.
JOB REQUIRES THE FOLLOWING SKILLS
  • 1 year minimum experience in dimensional inspection of fabricated & machined parts.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Fluent in use of tape measure, calipers, micrometer and other measuring tools.
  • Strong ability to read blueprints.
  • Ability to identify Carbon Steel, Galvanized Steel, Aluminum, and Stainless Steel.
  • Email/Internet proficiency.
  • Strong formal report writing skills.
PREFERRED SKILLS
  • MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
  • CAD/CAM design experience. (AutoCAD)
  • 3-axis Manual/CNC milling experience.
  • CMM device experience.
Hours are 6:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Thursday, with occasional overtime available on Fridays.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$19.00 - $24.00 per hour
