Job Description
Are you passionate about precision and take pride in making sure every detail is right? At Emerald Transportation Solutions, we're committed to excellence in every refrigerated truck we build and we're looking for a Quality Inspector to help us keep it that way. As a Quality Inspector, you will be an essential part of our manufacturing process, ensuring that every step—from assembly to final cleaning—meets our high standards. You'll work closely with production, engineering, and rework teams to identify issues, document findings, and support continuous improvement efforts. Your keen eye for detail and commitment to quality will help ensure every unit we deliver exceeds expectations.
Responsibilities:
Perform thorough visual inspections and document scratches, dents, or incorrect assembly. Identify defects during final inspection and support root cause analysis. Maintain accurate inspection records and use data to support traceability and improvement. Coordinate rework efforts and collaborate cross-functionally to uphold quality standards. Support audits, identify non-conformities, and initiate corrective actions. Help define quality control standards and participate in process improvement initiatives. Report key quality metrics like first pass yield, inspection cycle time, and audit findings.Requirements:
3+ years in a Quality Inspector or similar role within a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of quality control processes and inspection techniques. Familiarity with manufacturing workflows and product specifications. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments. Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, production-focused environment.
