Job Description

A growing North Georgia manufacturing company has a vacancy in its Quality Department for a QC/QA Technician. This is not a lab worker position; instead, a strong dimensional background and strong CAD skills are necessary. These are prerequisite requirements; please do not apply if you do not meet these requirements.

Knowledge and Skills:
Capable of precision measuring using calipers, micrometers, and various gages. Possess thorough understanding of
ISO 9001
2018 and its applications in manufacturing Ability to interpret documents and prints such as CAD drawings, procedures manuals, operation instructions, and
ASME / ASTM
specifications. Good dimensional interpretation and GD&T knowledge beneficial. Proficiency in CMM & Vision system programming and operation is beneficial. Proficient in applications such as MS Word, Excel & Outlook. Basic understanding of continuous quality improvement process. Minimum 2 years experience performing Quality Control/Assurance functions or shop floor machining. Ability to write routing reports and correspondence through various software programs. Ability to communicate with customer's engineering and QC personnel, both written and verbal.

$45,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
