Conyers, GA Pay:

$18.00 / hour

Focus:

Floor auditing, environmental monitoring, and basic testing.

Key Responsibilities:

Support basic chemical and microbiological testing, as well as sensory taste panels and finished product evaluations. Conduct environmental monitoring, swabbing, sample collection, and GMP/pest control audit readiness. Review FSQS documents, maintain document control, and track quality systems data. Audit warehouse processes (receiving, storage, shipping), manage quality holds, and verify product traceability. Move comfortably between the quality lab, production floor, and warehouse environments. 2. Quality Systems Laboratory Technician -

Lithonia, GA Pay:

$27.00 / hour

Focus:

Advanced laboratory testing, wet chemistry, LIMS data entry, and raw/finished product release.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform sensory, organoleptic evaluations, cook-ups, physical, and chemical testing on raw materials and finished goods. Record test data, maintain testing worklists, and document nonconformities/corrective actions using LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System). Calibrate and maintain analytical lab equipment at prescribed frequencies. Evaluate Bills of Materials (BOM), review and file Certificates of Analysis (COAs), and make hold/release decisions based on lab data. Conduct floor sanitation and equipment inspections, enforce strict GLPs/GMPs, and participate in check-sample proficiency programs. Utilize analytical techniques such as pH testing, salt titration, spectrophotometry, fat analysis, HPLC, and basic microbiology.

General Qualifications Education & Experience:

For Conyers ($18/hr): 2-3 years of experience in QA, food safety, or quality systems preferred; Associate degree is a plus. For Lithonia ($27/hr): High School Diploma/GED with 2+ years of food manufacturing/lab experience OR an Associate degree in a natural science (Food Science, Chemistry, Biology) with 1+ year of lab experience.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with LIMS or warehouse inventory tracking systems is highly preferred.

Compliance Knowledge:

Strong working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).

Physical & Sensory Abilities:

Ability to conduct sensory evaluations (taste, smell, color vision) and lift up to 50 lbs if required.

Soft Skills:
