Job Description

Summary:
Under general direction, performs a variety of mechanical, dimensional and visual inspections of incoming and manufactured parts and components.

Incumbent(s) may not be required to perform all duties listed, and may be required to perform additional, position-specific tasks. Conduct mechanical, dimensional and visual inspections and analyses of incoming, work-in-progress, first article, finished parts and components using typical inspection hand measuring devices, coordinate measuring machines, etc.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Conduct inspections and evaluations as certified and required. Read and interpret manufacturing drawings, shop routers, manufacturing specifications and quality control documents. Create, organize and maintain QC/QA documentation. Knowledge of the Dongwon's policies and procedures. Skill in assessing and prioritizing multiple tasks and demands. Skill in working within deadlines to complete projects and assignments. Skill in identifying and recommending solutions to problems. Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relations with co-workers and other Dongwon employees.
Education, Experience, Certifications and Licenses:
One (1) year experience as quality inspector. Helpful, but can be trained.
Environmental Factors and Conditions/Physical Requirements:
May be required to lift items weighing up to 5 to 10 pounds. May be required to push or pull items weighing up 20 to 30 pounds. Must be able to stand for a long period of time. Must be able to do some bending and stretching when need.
